Laura Linney is an American actor, who became well-known for her performance of vulnerable but strong characters. As a teenager, she spent her summers at her father's house her interest grew in theater. While at Brown University for a while and then later, she attended Juilliard School to study acting. Her career began on Broadway following her graduation, she made her debut in films within two years, and then on television in the year after. In the years since, she's been in many films, TV plays and stage productions. During her career she received several awards, among them the two Golden Globe Awards. Although she received many awards over the years, theater is always her main passion.
