Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson gained world-wide recognition as Buffy Summers. In the cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer, she played Rebecca Becky Granger. Swanson hails from California. Her early years were marked by an interest in acting. She began her career in the field of advertising, where she appeared in commercials for a number of companies. She first made screen appearances on an episode of NBCs show It's Your Time in 1984. Her debut was on the large screen two years later in the romance comedy Pretty in Pink. Swan, who is renowned for her stunning voice and a blonde hair, has appeared in parts in a variety of roles over the last few years. In 1989 she won an award called the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a Horror or Mystery Motion Picture for Flowers in the Attic.
